Our Purpose
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,"
Luke 4:18
Doctrines: We try not to add to the scriptures to form doctrines. We believe that most religious doctrines are not the priority. Our focus is to share the heart of Christ, to share information that will aid in the transformation of our lives spiritually, emotionally, and psychologically. We believe that everyone experiences emotional and mental injuries as we grow up in life. These injuries affect our behavior. Our behavior affects our relationships. The Bible says that "truth shall set you free." Through understanding the truth about God, self, life, and others, we can experience healing and be set free from the prisons and limitations caused by these emotional injuries.
Romans 12:1-3 says "be ye transformed by the renewing of your minds..."
Relationships are difficult. 2/3 of us end up dissolving them; the rest tolerate each other to avoid being alone... "We were in love. What went wrong?"
There are answers.
In today's society there are so many competing ideas on how to help the family unit. We believe the best way is to apply practical principles of the One who created it.
No matter where we are at, the One who created us is right there inside each of our minds, closer than anyone can be. He feels our hurt, our pain, the tears, the confusion, even the anger.
Personal development is important to God. He wants us to be our very best in this life right now!
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
There are 3 aspects of salvation
➔Justification which means you have become innocent in the eyes of the law.
A. God renders you innocent in His eyes, when you accept salvation.
1. The practical application of justification, you need to receive the terms that God sets.
a. Repent, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, except & confess your need for God, then Christ is the atonement for you.
Romans 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Mark 1:15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

➔ Regeneration is God’s spirit in you regenerating you spiritually back to life.
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.

➔ Sanctification means a “separation”
1 Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
1 Thessalonians 4:4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,
A. Sanctification has two parts: God sanctifies you by separating you in His attitude towards you for His purpose.
1. Your cooperation to sanctification comes by your attitude to separate yourself unto God.
2. Through cooperation, with the cleansing process God is doing in you to separate you from lying, gossiping, stealing, cursing, negative thoughts, negative attitudes, etc.
We believe you can forfeit your salvation & walk away from a life in Christ.
James 1:14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
➔ 1 John 5:16 …”There is a sin unto death”...
➔ 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
➔ Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
{Water} Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
{Spirit} Luke 3:16 John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
